It's generally easier to leave your car down in the paddock and walk across from the old bed base.

If you actually have marshals - inside at the end of the armco and outside at the post!

Either down in the paddock or up by the new medbase - both are equidistant

Officially a full post, so you'll be given fire bottles etc, it's close enough to the Corkscrew to manage as a flag link point only. You might not even be given a radio - in which case liaise with the observer at the Corkscrew for alternative means of communication, they might be needed as the car spins exiting the corner and ends in front of you!

The only marker for the post (at time of writing) is the litter bin - but it's on the outside of the corner roughly opposite the end of the armco. However, visibility to both Corkscrew and Hairpin In is good wherever you stand.

The only difficulty with this post (again, at time of writing) is getting up to it - with the tidily stacked lorry tyres there's not really any footholes. You might find wandering the MP12 (hairpin in) easier if you've got equipment - if you're flagging on your own you shouldn't need to find a way to get up in a hurry during the race!
