Mt Panorama Overview

Official Mt Panorama homepage

Mt Panorama

Getting There

when you get to Sydney head west for 3 hrs (depeding on traffic ) and your there

On Arrival

just before you enter the circuit ,on the left outside the TAFE ,you'll find the accreditation office .
Make it your first stop because you will not get onto the Mountain without the paperwork

Signing On

sign on is right behind race control(the tower) and the time varies from early to jee its still dark

Circuit Usage / Configurations

was Twice a year now once ,the V8's in October(but the 24 hr in November may change that fingers crossed)

Posts

Click on the post name for details.

all - 36 Flag points spread around the 6.213 klm track
some points are isolated from each other by scrub etc ,however most posts have access to a porta loo etc.
Posts on top of the mountain vary in excitement levels depending on wether the spectators (lmao) can get to you or if your lucky enough to be inside the track and seperated from them by the bitumen.
At the end of the race ,the race is on by both marshal's and spectators ,the marshal's to get the gear off the moutain and the spectators to
a) burn everthing that can be burnt
b)grab marshal's hats, bags, flags or the favorite an extinguisher!!
All i can say is if you help the Supply team load the trucks they will get you off the mountain MUCH quicker than the buses will!!

Lunch / Circuit Customs

you'll get your lunch baggie at sign on (the muffins are usually edible)

3)unless you like indegestion and a much lighter wallet a trip into town is the go for Dinner
